Chef Adalberto Diaz has been teaching culinary classes since 2001, including over five years as a Culinary Arts professor at Utah Valley University. With more than30 years of professional experience in the pastry industry, he is an exceptionally knowledgeable, skilled, and entertaining teacher. You may have seen him compete on various Food Network shows such as Holiday Baking Championship, Best Baker in America, Bake You Rich with Buddy Valastro, and Alex vs America! Currently, Chef Adalberto is a semifinalist for the 2025 James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef. He was awarded the title of National Pastry Chef of the Year by the American Culinary Federation in 2012 and has earned numerous medals in ACF-sanctioned competitions. Our talented team of pastry chefs, including Brian Maas, Kallie Crisp, and Mike Woods, also brings years of experience in crafting exquisite and delicious pastries under Chef Al's guidance. Join us for a fun and educational experience, where you'll learn to create a variety of delectable pastries to take home.
